Meet Allison

Allison C. Bray, PhD. is a co-founder of Falcon Focus, LLC. Allison oversees curriculum development and business operations at Falcon Focus, and provides virtual delivery of the ACCESS program to students. She previously served as the Director of Programming for Empowering Student Success, LLC, where she also enjoyed providing presentations on the ACCESS program to academic and lay audiences, as well as supervising graduate students who led ACCESS groups on their university campuses. 

Allison earned her B.A. in Psychology from Bates College (Lewiston, ME), and her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During her graduate school training, under the direction of Dr. Arthur D. Anastopoulos, Allison received extensive specialty training in the treatment and assessment of ADHD with children, adolescents, and adults. In addition to serving as a mentor for college students with ADHD in the initial open clinical trial examining ACCESS, Allison contributed to initial development and refinement of the mentoring guidelines. Allison also completed her predoctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX), where she continued her training in comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessment, as well as cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies with youth and adults in inpatient, outpatient, and intensive outpatient programs. Following fellowship training, Allison served as a staff psychologist for LeBauer Healthcare (Greensboro, NC) in the Behavioral Medicine division, where she specialized in the comprehensive assessment and cognitive-behavioral treatment of ADHD in adults. 

Meet Emilea

Emilea Gross, MS/EdS, LCMHC is a co-founder of Falcon Focus, LLC. In addition to facilitating ACCESS groups for students, Emilea supports business operations and manages marketing and social media for Falcon Focus. She previously served as a group facilitator and marketing consultant for Empowering Student Success, LLC. Emilea earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), followed by Master’s degree and Educational Specialist degree in Counseling from UNCG in 2016. As part of her undergraduate and graduate training, Emilea worked under the direction of Dr. Anastopoulos as a research assistant on the Trajectories Related to ADHD in College (TRAC) project, a longitudinal study of ADHD in college students. She also served as a counselor initially and then later as the Director of Behavioral Programming for the North Carolina Summer Program for Kids (NCSPK), an evidence-based summer treatment program for children with ADHD offered by the ADHD Clinic at UNCG. After earning her master’s degree, Emilea worked as a school counselor for seven years at a public high school. She also operates a private practice where she primarily works with children and families with ADHD.
